Is bean ón bhfarraige mise,
Is aoibhinn liom mo dhraíocht,
Agus ceol binn na farraige,
Tá mo dheirfiúracha fós ina gcónaí san aigéan,
Ach táimse i mo chónaí ar an gcladach,
Tá mé i m’aonair ar an trá,
In Inse.

The Mermaid

I’m a woman from the sea,
I love my magic,
And the sweet music of the sea,
My sisters still live in the ocean,
But I am living on the seashore,
I am alone on the beach,
In Laytown.

La Sirène

Je suis une femme de la mer,
J’aime ma magie,
Et le doux son des vagues,
Mes sœurs vivent toujours dans l’océan,
Mais je vis sur le rivage,
Je suis seule sur la plage,
À Laytown.
